SUMMARY:BioBlitz at the Park #2: Wild Plants around Rovereto Station
DESCRIPTION:Second session of BioBlitz at the Park\, a free series exploring and mapping the biodiversity of the green areas around Rovereto train station\, held on the first Thursday of each autumn month. This time Luca Frattini of the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto leads the group in identifying the wild herbaceous plants of the park through close observation\, then explores their stories: where they grow\, their ecological relationships and their role for people and pollinating insects. The session closes with a discussion of what caring for public green space means (public greenery is political\, and it shapes the city’s food policy)\, followed by a small collective symbolic gesture led by the S4T Living Lab of Trentino Social Tank. Suitable for adults\, families and children. Free\, but places are limited: register by email at s4t@laforesta.net. Meeting point: the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in the green area of Piazzale Orsi\, a 3-minute walk from the station. Note: uneven paving and steps. More info: https://www.instagram.com/p/De17CapjfY_/ — Original Italian text: 🌿BioBlitz al parchetto #2. Iscrizione via mail: s4t@laforesta.net. 🔸Attività adatta a persone adulte\, famiglie e bambinɜ.

SUMMARY:Food Landscape Walk with the Atlante del Cibo di Rovereto
DESCRIPTION:A free group walk with the Atlante del Cibo di Rovereto (Rovereto Food Atlas)\, exploring the area through the stories\, landscapes and transformations of food. How has Rovereto’s food landscape changed\, and with it the ways we grow\, produce and eat what reaches our tables? On a roughly two-hour loop walk you’ll visit places that tell the story of the area’s evolution: spaces linked to its farming past\, local groups that still keep and promote traditional know-how\, and projects testing new forms of food production. A chance to look with fresh eyes at places we often pass without stopping. Meeting point: the car park opposite Iper Convenienza\, Via L. Leno Sinistro\, Rovereto. Free\, booking required via the link in @atlante.del.cibo_rovereto’s Instagram bio; limited to 30 participants. If it rains\, the walk moves to 14 November. A project by Cooperativa Smart\, RUMA and the University of Trento\, part of S4T – Station for Transformation (EU co-funded\, coordinated by the Comune di Rovereto). Posti limitati a 30 partecipanti.
