Jeff Webster (James Stewart), with a violent past, seeks a new life in Alaska where he plans to sell his cattle herd. Skagway is ruled by the tyrannical sheriff Gannon, but Jeff escapes to Canada with the help of two women and buys a mine. When Gannon’s men steal his gold, a reckoning becomes inevitable. Filmed in Jasper National Park and at the Athabasca Glacier in Canada.
