September is looking pretty good, actually, there’s plenty going on in Trento, but also in Bolzano! From lakeside circus and big festival weekends to castle parties and contemporary performance art 🤸

✊ 3.9 | Pietramurata (Dro) — Because of a Neonaz* gathering, there is a unified anti-fascist counter demonstration organised by various unions. Let’s be loud against fasc*ists!

🌿 4–6.9 | Monte Bondone, Viote @coesistenzafestival — Coesistenza Festival is back with three days of walks, talks, workshops, films and encounters around wildlife and how we share the mountains with it. There’s a bit of everything, from early-morning wildlife walks to photography, science and food.

🎪 4–6.9 | Caldonazzo, Parco della Pineta @circuslakefest — Circus LakeFest is back for its Exodus Edition: three days by the lake with contemporary circus, live bands, workshops and communal wooden games. The kind of weekend where you can basically stay all day.

🏰 5.9 | Castel Firmiano (BZ) @spazioama — Spazio Ama is back after the summer break with a proper castle session: 6pm–4am, a big lineup, food by Muffa Project, and the whole thing happening at Schloss Sigmundskron.

🎸 10–13.9 | Doss Trento @poplarfestival — Poplar Festival takes over Doss Trento for four days of indie music, talks and hanging out above the city. This year's lineup includes Floating Points, i cani, Sama' Abdulhadi and The Avalanches.

🎭 10–20.9 | Bolzano + South Tyrol transart — Transart returns with another packed programme of contemporary music, performance, theatre and visual art in some very non-standard venues. Think abandoned buildings, botanical gardens, factories, museums and even a stadium rather than your usual concert hall.

🎭 25–27.9 | Various venues, Trento @funambolo — Trento Fringe Festival makes its debut with its Zero Edition: an independent performing-arts festival bringing experimental theatre and other slightly stranger things into different corners of the city.

🎬 3.8 | Piazza Italia, Trento @cinemamezzanotte — Outdoor screening night with Cinema Mezzanotte, the new community cinema project looking for a permanent home. This edition: the documentary “Uzeda – Do it yourself,” 21:15.

🌊 7–8.8 | Riva del Garda, Parco della Miralago — Terra Cruda by Plastiqo is back: two free, no-ticket lakeside days of music, workshops, talks, food and birrette, starting in the afternoon sun and running till the stars come out.

🥕 Every 2nd Thursday | Rovereto, Parco della Stazione @La Foresta — Mercato dei Saperi e dei Sapori: local producers, tastings and small workshops at the train station park. This month: 6.8, 5–8pm.

🌿 Tue 4/11/18/25.8 | Orto San Marco - Setàp, Rovereto — Ortofonico: a chill weekly community-garden aperitivo with DJ sets, 6–10pm. A nice low-key one for a Tuesday evening.

🎭17–23.8 | Montevaccino @risalite_festival — RISALITE is back for its 4th edition: a young-artist festival (theatre, art, music) up in the little mountain village above Trento. This year’s theme: Confini (Borders).

🪲 22–23.8 | Laion (BZ) — DingsDo Festival, a biennial one a bit further out (about an hour from Trento): live music and circus-style acts & vegetarian food

🌍 26.8–1.9 | Anterivo (BZ) @klimacampaltoadige — KlimaCamp Alto Adige, a free, volunteer-run climate camp: pitch a tent, cook and clean together, and join workshops and talks on climate and community. Come for the whole week or just drop by for a day.

🎤 28–30.8 | Trentino Music Arena — Trento Live Fest, weekend 1: Emma, Negramaro, Luca Carboni, Fulminacci, Gemitaiz, Madame and more, plus a big food area.

🏭 16–26.7 | Dro @centrale_fies_official — Centrale Fies summer programme: contemporary performance and live acts in an old power station. Don’t miss the Love is Political weekend (23–26.7) with Club Altrove, a queer clubbing takeover curated by @rifugioamore with KUNTHUG, Kobramulata & DJ Mantis 🖤

🧗 20–25.7 | Arco di Trento @climbersforpalestine_italy — 5 days of solidarity action alongside the Youth World Climbing Championship. a little market, info evenings, boulder night, demo 🍉

🌅4.7 | Sardagna @prolocosardagna — Serenate Bellavista, a free open-air concert on the panoramic terrace above Trento, from sunset to midnight. Punk rap, avant-garde songwriting and electronic club sounds with Arabic and North African influences. Take the cable car up and enjoy the views ✨

Trento’s biggest annual celebration returns with historical reenactments, parades, traditional competitions, concerts, food, and plenty of opportunities to experience local culture. Don’t miss the longest party night of the year with Notte Bianca. @festevigiliane

📍 Bookique, Trento
Three days of live music, parties, questionable decisions, and summer vibes to say goodbye to @bookique.trento , which will be under new management soon.

Hospiz Festival 2026

A unique festival combining electronic music, art, performances, and an incredible location in a former monestary. Expect a proper techno party, unmatched by anything else in Trentino Alto Adige. @hospiz20_

Facoltiadi Estive 2026

📍 Lago delle Piazze
The annual university games return with sports competitions, social events, and plenty of opportunities to meet students and young professionals from across Trento. A highlight of the academic summer. @unitrentosport

Starting with the long weekend full of concerts and little festivals including:

🌸 A concert in the community garden @ortoaperto_clarina together with a mycelium workshop

🌸Brigadera live at Lago di Cei, Sunday 3/05 at 17:00 directly at the beach of the lake together with a nature smelling excursion @la.foresta.rovereto

🌸Acquaviva sound system festival 1-2-3 maggio at Terreno No TAV in Besenello – free entry & free camping!

🌸MAP – Musica alla Piastra on 1-2 May at Parco di Ravina with a packed line-up: Povero Diavolo, Dirty Krcma, Tula Troubles, Zanóner & band, Grooviera, Skassapunka and more @gruppoaurora

Then continuing through May:
🌸Picnic 🎨 with @associazionealchemica – a one-shot plein air painting workshop at Parco delle Albere on 9 May, 15:00–18:00, only 5€ (bring your own snack, they bring the materials!)

🌸Festival Tabù 14–17 May with talks, concerts, performances and theatre – including Luciano Forlese at Bookique and a DJ set by All at Once @teatrodivillazzano

🌸And of course @clima3t little festival called Humous 🌍 on 16 & 17 May at Bookique – on the theme of art, community and activism with many nice activities, music and discussions 🌸
