Show up at the cash desk at THE ARCOBALENO PARK OF POMAROLO at 6 pm. Departure with guide of the Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino at 18.30 (first round). The estate is reached with a short and characteristic walking path of about 15 minutes.
Based on the novel by Isabella Bossi Fedrigotti winner Campiello prize and finalist Strega 1983 award.

An old, consummate photograph kicks off this kaleidoscopic and mysterious tale. What unites the people depicted in the photograph is the house that, behind them, partly glimpses, the fifth stage fixed of the stage on which the characters will take turns that for a day, for weeks or years frequented or inhabited it. The background is Trentino, a melting pot and a meeting point for people, cultures and dissimilar traditions, on which the last world conflict throws its raw light. One after the other the guests of the house take voice and color, animating themselves on the scenario thus set up, and evoke their personal stories.
The governess, the cook, the landlord, the Nazi, the neighbor, are the narrating voices of a story – that of fascism – that intersects with the small daily stories that try to live and survive without being overwhelmed by events.
The show is a puzzle in the interlocking. Each character is assigned the task of bringing his piece of vision, of completing the fresco, up to the last brushstroke that frames the painting.
They are lateral, incomplete, personal, peeked at a door, stolen from the noises of the night. Fragments of contradictory and evanescent truths.
The war house is a spectacle that through a historical story puts us in front of the prism of the truth, giving space to a perception that becomes nuanced and smoky depending on the point of view of those who tell it.
Where even the most elementary of distinctions, the one between good and bad, becomes a trap, a cobweb in which human events shake like flies trapped in the canvas of history.
The show was born in the estate of the Bossi Fedrigotti family in S. Antonio of Pomarolo (Rovereto).
The house that is the background to the novel becomes a living scenography of the performance, the actors and actresses return to live it, revealing to the public the wealth of history and suggestions that are still perceived in this place that has crossed time preserving all the charm of the past.
The set-up is adaptable to any form of predisposition even “site specific” in places dedicated to memory.
On 26 April 2025, he made his debut on 26 April 2025 at the Bossi Fedrigotti estate in Sant’Antonio, Pomarolo, 38060 (TN).

In case of rain, the show will take place inside the church of the Tenuta di S. Antonio.
At the end there will be a tasting of the wines of the Conti Bossi Fedrigotti Winery.
