Twenty years after the end of the Yugoslav conflict two men find themselves on the Croatian island of Iž, where their lives have changed forever. For both the meeting will be an opportunity to reconstruct their story one piece at a time. In particular, the massacre of civilians and the siege of Vukovar – known as the Croatian Srebrenica – are still open. Pain, death, love and hope are intertwined in the stories of various characters, while the collective trauma of the war is depicted against the background of memories.
