Theater performance Alessio Kogoj and Maria Vittoria Barrella

The show was born from a long journey of research into physical reality and the different implications of human interaction in reference to digital reality and the use of technology as a form of interaction, communication and entertainment.
Conceived by Alessio Kogoj and Maria Vittoria Barrella, in the guise of performers on stage, the show will move in the direction of creating an alienating experience to live between stage and audience. Languages specific to theatre, performance, the search for scenic solutions and unusual techniques are the tools to explore reality in the blurred light of the digital revolution. Chambers of representation in which distance, presence, interfaces and artificial intelligence play in the same field. Paintings in which you can let go of beliefs and abandon yourself to the transport, between incessant flows of data and the perception of the space of bodies, in the ether.
Ether, impalpable and volatile matter, is the invisible substance in which communication is concentrated, the air in which electromagnetic and wireless waves propagate. In the case of the show, the ether is only the means of separation between living beings, the void to be filled with emotions, questions and glances.
The production is coordinated by the company I Teatri Soffiati supported by the Municipality of Trento, the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara, the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Trentino Alto Adige Region as well as the collaboration of various professionals and cultural entities: Finisterrae Teatri, Teatro Pratiko, Le Garage, La Seggiolina Blu & Libreria Due Punti, Compagnia delle Nuvole.
