Melis Tezkan is an artist and director based in Paris. She is co-founder of the duo biriken, with Okan Urun. The duo uses various mediums such as theater, performance, video, installation, DJing. She also has collaborated closely with Nil Yalter. They conceived together video and performance works such as Untitled (2009), With Nil (2019). Tezkan currently teaches at the Grenoble-Valence Fine Arts University.
