Dance: VARIAZIONE N.6- Vertical Waves Project

Variation n.6 is indeed the variation of the scene plane that moves on the vertical axis, but even more so the composition for 6 performers who, in a crescendo, vary their relationships accompanied by a varied musical panorama.
Every quantity becomes quality, every relationship generates atmosphere, every meeting creates a new possible space. In dance, where empty space is the place of action, we dare unusual speeds and slowness, we break and rebuild harmonies where the interpretative strength of the artists proposes a continuous alternation between order and chaos, to the point of mixing them in a flow, dance.
Variation n.6 was created to be a system of addition, and then subtraction, which needs to know space to define itself in a FORM: architecture writes the entry methods, the distances between bodies, the possible geometries, the times same as dance.
The building frames the choreographic choices that in this work, in short, see:
the only one: body illuminated by other bodies;
the duo: specularity, synchrony, mutual tension;
the trio: otherness, contagion, encounter;
the quartet: transformation, duality, interlocking;
the quintet: contagion, similarity, diversity;
the sextet: imitation, celebration, chorality
and then a fade that leads back to a single enchantment, of waiting, of incompleteness.
