No to sham truces, for a ceasefire, for an end to the Israeli occupation towards a real peace process A truce is not enough to stop a genocide. Especially when truce is difficult to talk about. For seven days the Israeli air force silenced its bombs over Gaza, thus hoping to silence the voices that had been rising for weeks around the world against the occupation and the attempted ethnic cleansing of Palestine. The truce in Gaza came after 50 days of hell, 15 thousand dead, including 6,150 children and 4,000 women, 36,000 injured (75% women and children) and more than 6,800 missing under the rubble. In the West Bank, as of November 24, there were 242 deaths, including 57 children, and 2,750 injured since the October 7 attacks.“
