🚴🧠 Speck & Trek: Mezzocorona Skywalk

From Speck & Tech “Welcome to the last trek of the year, which will hopefully take place on Sunday, December 3. The formula is simple: our tech community mixed with trekking and nerdy chats in some of the most beautiful mountains of Trentino.
Our destination this time will be the Monte di Mezzocorona and its brand-new Skywalk and, after the trek, we will make a stop at a bar for the usual merenda + open discussion.
There, our guest for the day will be Elia Ciani, a researcher at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Together with him, we will talk about his research, which focuses on using machine vision to investigate salmon behavior when exposed to contaminants, in particular hydrogen sulfide (H2S). He will also present us with an application of Machine Learning and Computer Vision to his research topics.”
